Growing Through Sharing Jesus With Others

It is all about obedience!

We are told that one of the biggest burdens on the heart of Jesus is that others hear of His work for them on the cross.  He commands us to make disciples of all nations!  Listen to Mathew 28:18-20:  “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.””

We must proclaim Him!

Our life must tell that Jesus is Lord so that we will have a voice.  But we must open our mouth about the greatest good news in all the world!  Listen to Romans 10:12-17:  “For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

We grow to be like Jesus when we tell others of Him!

Jesus came from heaven to sacrifice Himself for us that can have eternal peace.  We become like him when pass on what He has done for us.  Our joy and crown is others that we have led to Christ through our life and words!  Listen to the Apostle Paul in Phil. 1:3-8: “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.  And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.”  We become concerned for others as Jesus was for the whole world when we share His good news to them!  2 Cor. 1:14 says this:  “…that on the day of our Lord Jesus you will boast of us as we will boast of you.
